 Week 10 Term 2 2022

MBS will be holding their own Road Safety Awareness week in week 10. To highlight the importance of being safe around roads for our students we are having a Dress up your wheels/Funky Feet Day on Monday 4th July.

Students can dress up their scooters or bikes and ride them to school or students can dress up their feet and wear funky shoes.

The MBS Travelwise Team will be at the school gates giving out spot prizes (not every student will get a prize) as students come to school.

We look forward to seeing all the amazing dressed up wheels and feet on Monday!

 Week 7 Term 2 2022

The Junior School participated in scooter training with Auckland Transport on Wednesday 1st of June. It was great to see the Junior School out on the court learning various scooter skills from both Auckland transport and our very own MBS Travelwise team.
Here are some photos from the day and also some outstanding writing from students in Room 4 - Jordan, Julia, Harlan and Dylan

There have been community complaints regarding illegal parking before and after school.  Parking wardens will now be coming and visiting at random times throughout the year to give parking tickets to those parked illegally.

School is Back – please remember to drive at a safe speed around our school.

This makes it safer for everyone, and students love to be able to walk, scoot or ride to school!

Let’s all take the time to be kind to one another, walking to school if we can, and driving safely around schools.
