We are committed to continuing the high level of service and software development that is important to you. However the costs associated with maintaining these high standards have necessitated our first price increase since we introduced Kindo to the market in 2013. We will be implementing the following changes with effect from 6 July 2020.
Customer account top ups: POLi transfers are free of charge. Families can reduce the impact of this by topping up for several items at once (e.g. adding more funds to their account than they immediately need and using the balance over time) or by using internet banking (1-2 days clearance) which continues to be free of charge. AP's continue free of charge and provide a good way to ensure funds are available when needed.
Account closures and refunds: Payments from Kindo to caregiver bank accounts for refund and account closure requests will be subject to a minimum value of $5, effective from 6 July 2020. This is in accordance with our existing Account Holder terms and conditions and is common practice in our industry. It reflects the very real administrative cost associated with these actions.
Refunds of below $5 will remain on the caregiver's Kindo account balance for future use. Families wanting to close their accounts may still request their account balance to be returned or donated to the school, however the $5 administration fee will be deducted from their balance.

Just launched for Android phones, we now have an app available for myKindo shopping, as well as personalised student payables, on both Apple and Android phones.

Families can log in with a touch, Face ID or PIN making it easier and faster for them to respond.

Not just popular with parents, we have also reduced our Account Holder age to 13 years old, so that high school students can use the App to order directly from canteens and other school-approved services.

Families and staff can search for "myKindo" in the app stores on their phones.
